Frisco, TX (Sports Network) - The Dallas Stars placed rookie center Tom Wandell on injured reserve Thursday with a torn ACL that will require season- ending surgery. Wandell, who turns 23 on Friday, was hurt last Thursday in the Stars' 4-3 loss at Vancouver. DALLAS (AP) -Dallas Stars rookie center Tom Wandell will have season-ending knee surgery after tearing an anterior cruciate ligament last week against Vancouver.
